Pauli's exclusion principle
A orbital can only be occupied by a maximum of 2 electrons, and if they do so, they must be have opposite spin.
Hund's rule
Orbitals of same energy must be filled singly by elctrons with parallel spin before pairing up.
*half-filled is more stable

Aufbau's principle
Aufbau comes from the German word "Aufbauen" which means "to build".
Electrons will occupy into orbitals in order of lowest energy available first.
What is orbital?
Region in space where probability of finding electron is very high.
